Who or what influences your work?

My artwork has many influences, among them are the photographers Duane Michals, Keith Carter, Mario Giacomelli, and Sally Mann, and the writers Mary Oliver, Donald Hall, and Robert Lax. Edward Bisone, a Buffalo painter, is an influence as well.

What are you working on now?

I am currently working on a series of staged photographs with figures; they are about aging and facing death yet remaining creative and praising life. What’s the inspiration for this work? It’s my aging.
