HOW TO MARRY A MILLIONAIRE (1953)—Betty Grable, Marilyn Monroe, and Lauren Bacall pool their minimal resources to rent a Manhattan penthouse in the hopes of ensnaring rich husbands. The first film made in the wide screen “Cinemascope” format sometimes tries too hard to show it off, but manages not to distract from an entertaining all-star comedy.
