The emo/indie outfit from Washington D.C., You, Me, and Everyone We Know will be making an appearance at the Studio @ Waiting Room this Thursday evening with A Failed Apology, What Is This? And Eavesdrop. If you’re a fan of pop punk and emo rock from the early ‘00s, you’ll love this one.

SAT 8/15 Buffalo Niagara Scottish Festival 2015

It’s that time of year for the 31st Annual Buffalo Niagara Scottish Festival Highland Games and Gathering of the Clans taking place this Saturday at the Heritage Village (3755 Tonawanda Creek Rd.) This event features Scottish fare and beer, bag piping, clan row, dancing, Celtic vendors and fun for the entire family.

THU 8/20 Fundraiser to Save Virachey National Park

Dreamland | 6pm-midnight | $5-$10 suggested donations

Habitat ID is a conservation group that specializes in going into under prioritized protected areas and doing wildlife surveys that local governments cannot or will not do. On Thursday, Dreamland will host Habitat ID’s fundraiser to benefit Virachey National Park in Cambodia with music by Folkfaces, Radarada, & Dj Crespo.

FRI 8/21 Party on the Portico

History Museum | 5:30-8:30pm | $10/$5members | Ages 21+

The Rockaz, a unique blend of soul, reggae, R&B, & funk will perform at the M&T Third Fridays Party on the Portico Happy Hour Series. Guests will enjoy live music, party snacks, a cash bar, free 15 minute mini tours of the Museum, drawings, and more.

8/21 - 8/23 Starfall Music Festival

Hogarosa Campgrounds | 10am-6pm

The Starfall Music Festival is a weekend long, outdoor art and music festival featuring 25 music showcases, live art displays, projection theatres, two ponds for fishing and swimming, tarot readings and much more.

TUE 8/25 Axis

Florida quintet Axis is a hardcore band that kind of sounds a little like Converge and Dillinger Escape Plan. They’ll be heading to Sugar City on Tuesday (8/25) for a show you won’t want to miss.
