The Whiskey Daredevils perform "Wichita Buzzcut"

A lot has happened for the Whiskey Daredevils since their last visit to Buffalo. Guitarist Bob Lanphier was seriously injured when he was T-boned by a reckless driver in Cleveland, so they organized a benefit raffle for him where the winner flies to Hawaii with drummer Leo P. Love. Previously, Leo won the prize-trip by setting the Guinness world record for consecutive hours watching TV. True story, proving again that truth is stranger than fiction in Daredevil land. The band just released their second CD, The Essential Whiskey Daredevils, and soon departs for a tour of Germany. That’s why front man Greg Miller promises to bring “what might be the greatest rock-n-roll show in the history of live entertainment to the city of Buffalo.” Be there at 10pm Friday (Dec 15) at Mohawk Place where they’ll perform hair-raising musical stunts with fellow Clevelanders Lords of the Highway, and The Mofos, from Ithaca.
