Buckethead

Prolific guitarist and composer Buckethead (born Brian Carroll) has released 38 solo albums, appeared on 44 other albums from a wide variety of artists, collaborated with the likes of Serj Tankian (System of a Down), Guns N’ Roses, and Iggy Pop (to name just a few), worked on soundtracks for movies like Saw II and Beverly Hills Ninja, combined a number of different eclectic musical styles while playing every single instrument himself, and ranked eighth on Guitar One’s list of the Top 10 Greatest Shredders of All Time. His next great feat will be gracing Club Infinity along with his touring trio. Buckethead’s music fluently manages to dabble in everything from thrash metal and avant-garde to funk, electronica, and jazz. He is best known for his diverse and commanding electric guitar playing, which spans from thrash to fingerpicking to slap guitar. And just in case none of the above info manages to entice you to check him out, there’s always his appearance: he performs his live shows with a creepy white mask on his face and, true to his name, a KFC bucket on his head.
