On Friday (Aug. 25), at 9pm, Nimbus Dance Co. and the music collective Temporary Dream will present an encore performance of the hugely well-received Infringement Festival show, Temporary Dream. Dancer/choreographer Kerry Ring will join the cast this time, along with original dancers Beth Elkins, Theresa Baker, and Aaron Piepszny. The multi-media work features live soundscapes by David Gracon, Greg Genco, and Jeff Fose, video by Brian Milbrand, and Pilates-inspired choreography by Nimbus director Beth Elkins. The set was designed by architect Brad Wales in the space he and Elkins share, at Gallery 164 (164 Allen). This will also be the last performance of Temporary Dream the band, as founding member David Gracon plans to head west to Oregon in early September.
