A man was surprised when he returned to his vehicle on Sunday afternoon to find it empty. The victim, whose Jeep Cherokee was parked downtown at Mohawk and Franklin Streets, found his front passenger window smashed out, and noticed that more than $4,000 worth of goods had been removed from it. Yes, he left more than $4,000 worth of his personal possessions in plain view downtown. Among the stolen items were a satellite radio system, an iPod, clothing, a laptop, a bag, a GPS system and, mysteriously, golf clubs.
