About Give For Greatness
Give For Greatness (G4G) is an organization whose primary mission is to fundraise for, and elevate the profile of, arts and cultural organizations in Western New York.
G4G was launched by Artvoice and its partners in 2011 in response to cultural funding cuts imposed by former Erie County Executive (now Congressman) Chris Collins, helping to rally opposition to and bridge the budget gaps caused by those cuts. The first campaign kicked off on Mardi Gras in 2011 and lasted until Cinco de Mayo of that year. In 2012, the campaign raised and distributed $90,000 to area cultural organizations.
This year, G4G—with your help—aims to give even more to the institutions it supports. Our goal is not simply to help the arts survive in Western New York; we want to help the arts thrive and grow.
