Fri 3/4 Tommy Z

Dinosaur BBQ, 4pm

Veteran Buffalo blues rocker Tommy Z’s current album “Blizzard of Blues” rose to #6 on I-Tunes Top Blues Albums. A driven bluesman who has played on stages large and small, Z has a large repertoire of traditional blues and jazz styles. In 2007, Tommy was elected in the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame.

Fri 3/4 Deon Cole

Tralf Music Hall, 7pm

Based out of Chicago, Deon Cole is an actor, comedian and comedy writer. For the last seven years, he has been a part of Conan O’ Brien’s writing staff. That writing team has garnered two Emmy nominations. He is currently a cast member on the sitcom Angie Tribeca.

FRI 3/4 The Art of Beer

Niagara Arts and Culture Center, 6pm, $35

The largest fundraiser for the Niagara Arts and Culture Center is a wonderful showcase for our local breweries and restaurants. The tickets include: food and beer sampling from over twenty restaurants and breweries. Performances by Billy Draws Two, Turning Virtue, Bobby Skyzypek and the Pedestrians, Fonia Corrine.

LA rock band the Moth and the Flame have been touring the U.S. and Europe since 2011 backing up such bands as Imagine Dragon, Parlor Hawk, Neon Trees, Placebo and Big Data. In 2013, the Moth and The Flame was credited in the British daily paper “the Guardian” as the “new band of the day

The Bell Canto Quartet, formerly known as the String Sisters, is a Buffalo based string quartet. They are playing fun songs that range from Schumann’s Manfred Overture to Pirates of the Caribbean.

SUN 3/6 Buffalo Choral Arts Society

Westminster Presbyterian Church, 3pm, $10

Buffalo Choral Society pays tribute to those we’ve lost in an afternoon of musical reflection called “In Remembrance.” Experience the healing power of music as it lifts our souls and spirits to a higher place. Guest artists include director of music and church organist Garrett F. Martin with the Westminster Presbyterian Choir.

Tue 3/8 Peter Case

Sportsmens Tavern, 7pm, $15 advance / $20 door

Hamburg born Peter Case left Buffalo at 15 and headed west to launch his career as an influential American singer/songwriter. Expect acoustic guitar delivered in a soulful folk-rock style. Case’s secret weapon is his powerhouse voice and visionary songwriting.
