The Erie Basin Marina traveled back in time to 1492 this past weekend as a historically accurate reproduction of the Niña docked in Buffalo. The ship was made entirely by hand and has been sailing since 1991.

The fireworks spectacular at UB's Baird Point in Amherst drew over 40,000 people. Those who got close enough to the lake enjoyed live music by Doug Yeomans and the Low Blue Flame, followed by the Erie County Wind Ensemble playing a mix of American standards and patriotic songs.
